Colin began his financial services career in 1991. He is an independent financial adviser and a qualified stockbroker, specialising in investment planning and working closely with clients to meet their financial objectives. Colin is a pension transfer specialist and holds the Institute of Financial Studies level 6 PETR qualification as well as the Tolley Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) Diploma in EIS.
Colin’s interests outside of work include cycling, walking, tennis and amateur dramatics. Having previously cycled from London to Rome, he now has his sights set even higher: a world trip before he retires.
Chris started his career in financial services in 1972, working in a variety of roles for a number of banks and securities houses in the City, until becoming a mortgage adviser and then an independent financial adviser. He specialises in providing clients with advice on their later life plans including long term care planning, annuities and equity release. He also works with clients to help them get the best our of their investment portfolios.
Chris’s interests include travel, wine, conservation and anything to do with motorcycling (riding, watching and even marshalling at race meetings). Chris is a trustee of a community narrowboat located in Hunton Bridge, North of Watford that provides narrowboats on the Grand Union canal for community groups such as Scouts and guides .
Chris is a volunteer ‘blood-runner’ for SERV (Service by Emergency Response Volunteers) who use their own motorcycles or cars to provide an out-of-hours ‘medical essentials’ service. The ‘runners’ carry urgently needed medical items such as blood and biological samples.
As well as being a qualified stockbroker and experienced independent financial planner, Mike has also been awarded the Chartered Insurance Institute’s specialist long-term care qualification and the Tolley Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) Diploma. He provides planning and investment advice to clients, helping them plan for their retirement and later life so that they can enjoy the life style they deserve in retirement. He also helps clients with estate planning, so their estate should only pay the tax man what he really deserves!
Away from the office, Mike is a keen golfer, fly fisherman and Rotarian. He particularly enjoys cooking for family and friends.
Christine brings a great deal of technical knowledge to the team as a Paraplanner and has an in-depth understanding of client needs. Christine holds the Diploma for Financial Advisers from the Institute of Financial Services.
Christine devotes her spare time to her Rottweiler, Ruby, taking her to obedience and agility classes. She also enjoys property renovation, and has recently moved on to a new project.
